The desperate search for a missing mother in the bushland continues, with no signs of her found so far. The disappearance of 41-year-old Trisha Graf from the remote town of Andamooka has left authorities perplexed, as she vanished under mysterious circumstances.
Trisha was last seen driving along Dunstan Drive in Andamooka at 2 am on December 12, after spending the evening with a friend at the Roxby Downs Hotel. The pair had struck a kangaroo while driving, causing damage to her 2012 Ford Territory, which was later found abandoned on a dirt mound near the Blue Dam east of Andamooka.
The search for Trisha has been extensive, involving police, SES crews, and members of the community. Initial ground and aerial searches were followed by a police diver search of the Blue Dam, but no evidence has been found.
The Major Crime Investigation Branch is leading the investigation, with grave concerns for Trisha's welfare. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke stated that significant investigations and thorough searches have been conducted, but her thongs found with her vehicle suggest she may have wandered off a short distance.
The search continues with door-knocking in Andamooka on Wednesday, as authorities strive to determine what happened to Trisha and locate her.
