A severe blast struck a building in Logan Township, New Jersey, on Wednesday evening, leaving several people hurt and requiring hospitalization. Cooper University Hospital in Camden confirmed it was treating three patients; conditions were not immediately available.
The explosion’s impact wasn’t contained to the building alone. A doorbell camera in nearby Swedesboro captured the deafening blast, and other footage documented a thick plume of black smoke rising from the site. Fire crews worked to douse flames as the gutted structure burned.
